Sgraffito Tile Workshop

Discover the art of sgraffito in this unique class, where you will have the opportunity to work on two cobalt blue tiles (15×15 cm). In this class, you will learn how to transfer the design onto the tile and "sgraffito" with precision.

This technique, which emerged in the early 16th century, involves carefully removing the dark glaze of the tile with an engraving tool or nail, revealing the ceramic body beneath while keeping the glaze only in the decorative details.

After the class, the tiles will be fired. You can pick them up at a scheduled time, or if you prefer, we can ship them directly to your address (shipping fees apply in this case).
